Trump wants people to think he is a great leader. But great leaders
don't treat people the way Trump treated Alicia Machado.
After Alicia won the Miss Universe
contest in 1996 when she was just 18 years old Trump claimed she
gained a "huge" amount of weight and it was a "problem."
His response to this "problem"
was to publicly humiliate her by calling reporters to photograph her
working out, call her names like "Miss Piggy," call her
"fat," and "ugly," and yell at her. Machado says
the experience led to eating disorders that plagued her for years.
All of this is a disgraceful way to
treat a young woman. It is certainly not great leadership. Great
leadership does not tear people down, great leadership builds people
up.
Trump is a cruel bully who tears people
down. Time to DUMP TRUMP!
